Join us for an inspiring event at the Green Hub, where we invite two distinguished guests to share their insights on inner and outer transformation. Satish Kumar, a former monk and world-renowned activist, and Venerable Chang Lin, a respected photographer turned monk and environmental advocate, will engage in a meaningful exchange and thought-provoking dialogue. The topic is ‘Spirituality and Beauty’ in which we could embrace beauty and even bring up the beauty of inner and outer worlds by engaging in spirituality.

After the dialogue, we will treat you to a sumptuous vegetarian dinner, featuring delicious self-served vegetarian food prepared by the Green Hub. This feast highlights our commitment to promoting healthy and sustainable food choices, and we believe that by eating vegetarian and seasonal food, we take action to tackle environmental issues.

Guest Speakers

Satish Kumar

Raised as a Jain monk from the age of 9, Satish became a campaigner for land reform at 18, working to turn Gandhi's vision of a renewed India and peaceful world into reality. Satish has devoted his profound wisdom to making significant contributions to education, as a co-founded of Schumacher College in 1991, an international residential education center focused on transformative learning for sustainable living, he has empowered countless individuals.

Venerable Chang Lin

Venerable Chang Lin is a reputable professional photographer in Hong Kong. In 2009, he decided to give up all his fame and fortune and went to Master Guo Ru’s temple in Taiwan to start his monastic life. He was ordained in 2010. In recent years, Changlin Fashi has led meditation retreats in a simple and easy-to-follow way. He has also initiated Pause & Breathe as a charitable institution to help others
