Family Day: Exploring the Fascinating World of Soil 

Discover the fascinating world of soil and learn how to conserve and protect it for future generations with 'Soil and Us' a half-day programme designed for parents and children.

Led by world-renowned educator Satish Kumar and KFBG Education Officers, this programme offers a precious opportunity for families to appreciate the soil that surrounds our daily lives and explore how soil plays a key role in supporting various life forms on earth. Through a combination of indoor and outdoor activities, parents and children will learn about the importance of soil conservation and how to heal the soil in a sustainable way. Attend this meaningful event with your kids and have fun connecting with soil and our beloved nature!

  • Storytelling session: a fascinating journey through the rich history and importance of soil.

  • Soil discovery: Experience the generosity of soil firsthand by harvesting from the eco garden and enjoying a delicious tea time at KFBG!

  • Giving back to nature:  Create your very own compost! Discover the benefits of composting and how it can help reduce waste while nourishing the soil and promoting plant growth.

(Including admission fee, programme fee, light snacks and drinks)

Note: Once the application is confirmed, refunds are not available except if the event is cancelled due to bad weather.
